“Science is not magic, but it often looks magical.”

The Science Hocus Pocus – Magic Show was organized in QVS for Class V students with the aim of promoting curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students presenting simple science-based magic tricks using safe and age-appropriate materials. Each participant confidently performed and explained the scientific principle behind the trick within the given time limit.
The competition was conducted in two rounds—Prelims and Finals. The preliminary round, held on 19th January 2026, helped in shortlisting the best performers for the final round. The final round was conducted on 22nd January 2026 wherein the finalists showcased innovative tricks and demonstrated a clear understanding of scientific concepts such as force, air, light, and motion.
The event concluded with appreciation for the participants’ creativity and confidence. The Science Hocus Pocus – Magic Show successfully combined fun with learning, making science engaging and meaningful for the students.
