    -Harry Emerson Fosdick

National Voters’ Day (NVD) is celebrated across the country on 25th January every year to mark the importance of voting in a democracy. This year, the 14th National Voters’ Day was celebrated across the country with the theme- “Nothing  like voting, I vote for sure.”

The day began with the morning assembly enforcing the power of vote. Other activities like debate, group discussion and quiz were organized to sensitize the students. Everyone participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. At the end, the students were also motivated to take the Voter’s Pledge.

The students went home with significant thought in mind that the procedure of voting is significant enough to change the destiny of the nation. As a brilliant mind put it- “The destiny of a nation can be most affected and changed by the youth.”
