The ‘Swaad-e-Hind – Indian Food Festival’ was organised at Queen’s Valley School on 24th December 2025 for students of class VII with the aim of celebrating the rich and diverse culinary heritage of India.

The food festival highlighted the diversity of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking styles, reflecting the unity in diversity of Indian culture. The stalls were attractively arranged, and students confidently explained the significance and preparation of their dishes.

The event was also linked to Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero Hunger, emphasising the importance of food security, responsible consumption, and respect for food. Through this initiative, students were encouraged to value food and understand the need to prevent wastage and promote sharing.

The Swaad-e-Hind – Indian Food Festival served as an enriching learning experience, helping students develop respect for Indian traditions and cultural heritage.
