The “Aurline” Textile Designing Activity for Class VI was conducted successfully on Wednesday, 8th April. The activity was organized in connection with the upcoming festival of Vaisakhi.

Students explored the traditional art of Phulkari design, creating vibrant and intricate patternsusing colours on checked sheets. They incorporated geometric patterns in Phulkari style, suchas diamonds, triangles, squares, and symmetrical motifs, reflecting the richness of this traditional embroidery art.

The activity helped students understand and appreciate Indian culture and textile traditions. They demonstrated great creativity, precision, and enthusiasm while designing their patterns.

The activity was both educational and enjoyable, enhancing students’ artistic expression, knowledge of geometric design, and cultural awareness.
