This event aimed to deepen students' understanding of this crucial period in Indian history while also honing their skills in visual communication and data presentation. The competition saw participation from all four houses—Courage, Peace, Integrity and Truth—with each house presenting their research and design skills through informative and visually engaging infographics.
Participating in the competition allowed students to develop essential 21st-century skills. The primary objectives of the competition were to enhance students' knowledge of the Indian Independence Movement, to develop skills in creating visually appealing and informative infographics, to encourage teamwork and collaborative learning among students.
Prior to the competition, students were given guidelines and resources on how to create effective infographics. They were encouraged to research various aspects of the Indian Independence Movement, including key figures, significant events, and influential strategies. Each house was tasked with creating a comprehensive infographic that would highlight these elements in an engaging manner. The competition was divided into two main phases: Prelims: Students researched and designed their infographics and created them in school. Finals: On the final day of the event, each house presented their infographic to a panel of judges and their peers.

"The relationship between a brother and sister never fades, even though paths may change as life progresses."
On August 20, 2024, Queen's Valley School's class IV-Oak held a special assembly in support of SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Raksha Bandhan is mostly about celebrating the relationship between brothers and sisters. Sisters wrap a rakhi around their brothers' wrists on this day to show their love, concern, and protection for one another. In exchange, brothers frequently give their sisters gifts or other expressions of gratitude.
The festival's history was told at the start of the event. A skit that portrayed the historical significance of Raksha Bandhan, the festival of love and protection, came after it. The whole place was illuminated by a dancing performance.
This assembly was held with the intention of teaching us the value of holidays in our life. The learner gained knowledge of responsibility, sharing, teamwork, and bonding.
