The students of Classes XA, XB, and XC of Queen’s Valley School presented a captivating assembly on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, celebrating the significant contribution of Hindi to India’s rich cultural and linguistic heritage under the theme on 15-09-2026 “हिंदी, भारत की बिंदी”. The assembly began with a melodious prayer presented by the class choir, followed by a meaningful Hindi thought. The anchors then delivered an engaging speech highlighting the central theme of the assembly—the importance of Hindi not only in preserving the cultural and linguistic identity of the nation but also in expressing the memories, emotions, and experiences of millions of speakers. The speech was followed by an insightful skit based on the theme “Usage of Hindi in Modern Life.” Through a practical classroom scenario, the students effectively demonstrated the relevance of Hindi in contemporary life. The programme continued with a heartwarming dance performance by the students. Through graceful mudras, expressive movements, and sharp expressions, they beautifully showcased the richness of Indian art and culture. The performance also conveyed the powerful message that emotions can be expressed meaningfully even without words. The dance performance was followed by a poetic interlude, during which the students brought out the beauty and elegance of Hindi literature through short yet impactful poems The assembly concluded with a powerful grand finale involving all the students, followed by a thoughtful closing reflection by the anchors. Overall, the presentation successfully celebrated Hindi as a language that connects people, preserves cultural identity, and reflects the unity within India’s diversity.

On 12 September 2026, four students in classes X and XII visited AEDEX + Airport Expo 2026, International Exhibition and Conferences on Aerospace, Defence and Aviation held at IICC Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, where they attended an inspiring session titled ‘Reached for the Stars’. It was addressed by D. K. Singh, a senior ISRO scientist, and Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, an Indian astronaut and Air Force test pilot who travelled to the International Space Station in 2025 as part of the Axiom 4 mission. The interaction provided valuable insights into India’s growing space sector and the opportunities it offers to young enthusiasts. During the visit, the students also explored various exhibition stalls and learnt about different types of aircraft, aircraft engines, and aviation technologies. The event was an informative and enriching experience that helped the students gain greater exposure to India’s aerospace and aviation industry.

Teachers’ Day is celebrated to honour and appreciate the important role teachers play in shaping the personalities and the future of their students. It is an occasion to express gratitude for their patience, guidance, dedication and constant encouragement. Keeping this in mind, students of class XII in Queen’s Valley School organised the Teachers’ Day celebration at school on 3^rd September with great enthusiasm and gratitude to honour the teachers for their dedication and guidance. The programme commenced with the morning assembly through which students sought divine blessings, and shared meaningful thoughts. The Head Girl, Aahuti, then delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting the importance of teachers and their role in shaping young minds. She expressed gratitude towards the teachers on behalf of all the students, acknowledging their invaluable contribution to the lives of students. It was followed by self-composed poetry rendition by Aditri whose recitation filled the hearts of the audience with appreciation and gratitude for their mentors. Thereafter, Poonam’s fusion dance celebrating the undying connection between teachers and learners left the audience enthralled. The assembly concluded with ramp walk and clicking of class pictures marking an enthusiastic beginning to the celebrations.

Adding to the spirit of the occasion, the students were dressed in elegant sarees, embracing the look and persona of teachers for the day. The celebrations continued with an engaging role-reversal activity, where the students of Class XII took on the responsibilities of teachers and conducted classes in all sections of classes III-XI. Student-teachers for junior classes conducted engaging activities that promoted critical thinking and team spirit, while student-teachers for classes X and XI guided the students about portfolio building, subject combinations at senior secondary level and possible career options. The day gave the students of class XII an opportunity to experience the responsibilities and challenges faced by teachers. After the activity, students and teachers gathered for lunch, followed by a surprise dance party. The music and cheerful atmosphere brought the celebrations to a memorable conclusion. Overall, the day was an amalgamation of gratitude, learning, appreciation and celebration as the students carried out their responsibility with utmost dedication, making Teachers’ Day 2026 a truly special occasion for everyone.

Empowering our students with climate literacy, conservation skills,

and local action to shape a sustainable tomorrow.

Queen’s Valley School, Dwarka conducted a three-day Introductory Awareness and Sensitization Workshop on Climate Change, Sustainability and Circular Economy on 31st August – 2nd September 2026 in collaboration with Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ). The workshop was a truly enriching, engaging and eye-opening experience that went beyond conventional classroom learning. Through interactive sessions, discussions and real-world examples, we were encouraged to look at environmental issues from a new perspective. Facts such as only 2.5% of the Earth’s water being freshwater and the impact of our everyday activities on our carbon footprint made the sessions especially thought-provoking. What made the workshop particularly memorable was its emphasis on practical action and student participation. Instead of simply learning about climate change, we were encouraged to reflect on our own choices, practise the 4Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle, conserve resources and identify environmental issues within our school and community. The sessions inspired a strong sense of responsibility, confidence and environmental stewardship, making us realise that even small individual efforts can create a meaningful ripple effect. Overall, the workshop was an inspiring and empowering experience that motivated us to become conscious citizens and active changemakers for a sustainable future.

The Inter-House Kho-Kho Competition was conducted on 21^st August 2026 for classes VI-VIII & on 1^st September 2026 for classes IX-XIII in the school playground. The competition was organized to promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship among students. Participants from all four houses competed in the knockout matches after preliminary rounds. The competition was conducted under the supervision of the sports Department, following the official rules of Kho-Kho. Students displayed great enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit throughout the competition, while spectators cheered enthusiastically, creating an energetic atmosphere.
