SPECIAL ASSEMBLY - The Joy of Giving (XI-C & XI-F)

The students of Classes XI-C and XI-F conducted a thought-provoking and heart-warming class assembly on the theme ‘The Joy of Giving’ on 8 November, 2025. The programme beautifully highlighted the importance of kindness, empathy and generosity in everyday life.
The assembly began with a prayer, followed by a series of skits and dance performances that vividly portrayed how small acts of compassion can make a big difference in the lives of others. Through their performances, the students emphasised that giving is not limited to material things—it also includes sharing time, love and understanding. In doing so, they demonstrated vital 21st century skills such as collaboration, creativity and effective communication.
The cultural hall, decorated by the students themselves, reflected the theme with creative posters and inspiring quotations, setting a warm and cheerful ambience. The presence of parents added to the occasion’s significance, as they watched the young performers deliver meaningful messages with sincerity and enthusiasm.
Principal Ms. Ambika Roshan addressed the gathering, appreciating the students’ efforts and reminding everyone that true happiness lies in giving selflessly. Headmistress Ms. Surbhi Duggal also commended the coordination and teamwork displayed by the students and teachers. The assembly aligned with SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, promoting empathy, emotional wellness and a spirit of harmony within the community.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the student representatives, expressing gratitude to the management, teachers and parents for their encouragement and support.
