A special activity was conducted on 28th November 2025 in class VII to encourage students to create persuasive sequels that promote an eco-friendly and sustainable future. Students were divided into groups of five and asked to reimagine or extend a known story, movie, book, or real-life situation with a greener twist. Each team planned their sequel by identifying the original idea, highlighting sustainable changes, and deciding on the core message they wished to convey.

To align the activity with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), students ensured their sequels reflected cleaner, safer, and climate-resilient environments. Their ideas showcased responsible choices, innovative solutions, and futuristic thinking that support a greener planet.

They prepared brief presentations using props, posters, dialogues, and role plays to make their ideas engaging. During the performances, students confidently persuaded the audience about how their reimagined worlds could become cleaner and more sustainable. The presentations were evaluated on creativity, clarity, teamwork, and effectiveness in promoting environmental awareness.

Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.
                                        – Albert Einstein

An educational trip to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi was organised by Queen’s Valley School on 8th November 2025 for the science students of Class XI. The visit aimed to motivate students towards scientific learning and research by providing them with exposure to advanced laboratories, modern technology, and the academic atmosphere of one of India’s leading institutes.

Students were warmly received and guided through several laboratories, each highlighting the practical application of scientific concepts. In the Pharmaceutical Laboratory, they observed how chromatography is used to detect impurities in medicines, linking classroom chemistry to real-world pharmaceutical testing. The Physics Laboratory showcased a polarising microscope and a 3D printer, helping students understand how innovative tools support material research and modern manufacturing. The Electrical Laboratory introduced them to the working of transformers, rectifiers, and the concepts of AC and DC currents through live demonstrations.

The Chemistry Laboratory presented experiments on compound analysis and laboratory safety, while the Virtual Reality Laboratory provided an immersive 3D visualization explaining how breast cancer affects women. This experience illustrated how technology and medical science come together to advance research and education.
Beyond the laboratories, students explored the IIT Delhi campus and gained insights into the life of researchers and scholars. They were inspired by the institute’s spirit of innovation, collaboration, and dedication to scientific progress. The educational trip proved to be a valuable and inspiring experience that connected theory with practice. It encouraged students to think critically, explore creatively, and aspire towards excellence in science and technology, leaving them with lasting motivation to pursue their academic dreams.

On Thursday, 6th November 2025, the students of Class III of Queen’s Valley School set out on an educational excursion to the National Rail Museum in New Delhi. The trip was organized to help students gain knowledge about the history, growth, and importance of Indian Railways. The museum captivated students with its impressive collection of old locomotives, miniature models, interactive displays, and audio-visual exhibits that showcased the evolution of rail transport in an engaging way.
Each gallery highlighted significant milestones such as the introduction of steam engines, the development of railway routes, and the role railways played in connecting different parts of the country.
