Queen’s Valley School organised an informative workshop on ‘Financial Literacy’ for the students of Class XII on 28 July, 2026 to equip them with essential financial knowledge and practical money management skills. The session was conducted by Mr. Jyotiraditya Ganguly, an investment professional and finance mentor with experience in portfolio management and financial education.
The workshop focused on the importance of making informed financial decisions from an early age. Students gained valuable insights into money management and budgeting, saving habits and financial discipline, the functioning of banking systems and financial instruments, the basics of investing, risk and return, and real-life financial decision-making and planning. The speaker explained these concepts through relatable examples, making the session engaging and easy to understand. Students actively participated by asking questions and discussing everyday financial situations.
The workshop proved to be highly beneficial as it encouraged students to become financially aware and responsible. It highlighted the significance of planning finances wisely and making informed choices for a secure future.
The workshop concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the resource person for sharing his valuable knowledge and inspiring students to build a strong foundation in financial literacy.
